Change must be to the hardware on the SSD drive because I removed all windows 10 partitions, repartitioned and installed windows 7, and still when I go into the bios it says secure erase not supported. It seems windows 10 changed settings on my SSD drive without asking. Secure erase options are available only for some types of storage devices. When I went to secure erase the drive in the bios it stated it was no longer supported.
